Thank you for the conversations already had at Parent/Teacher Conferences, and those still to come next week. I TRULY do value partnering with you to do the job assigned to us of growing these kids in the grace and knowledge of our Savior!
Reading Forts - Tuesday afternoon sounds like a perfect time to enjoy some reading in forts - please send along a sheet or lightweight blanket to aide in our construction process. Each child may also take EITHER a pillow OR a stuffed animal that is no larger than their backpack. Thank you!
Scheduling - Please remember that there is no school for the students on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday while the teachers spend time learning together at a Christian Educators Convention. I hope you enjoy some extra family time together over the break.
Homework - Due to the abbreviated week next week, I will not be sending out new reading and math minutes, and we will not have a word work test either. Expect those things to resume on Monday, October 27. Please do encourage your child to keep the facts fresh, and to keep reading a bit everyday anyway, even though they do not have to record their time.
