Our God is so good to us!  We spent some time today in prayer offering thanks to God for all he has done for us - we had a lot to say, for sure!

I wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!  I will truly miss your children - they are one of the gifts I am grateful to God for this Thanksgiving!

LUNCH HELPER DEC. 9 - As I anticipate a meeting at noon on Dec. 9, I'm looking for someone who might be able to sit with the students in our classroom as they eat lunch that day (11:15-11:50).  If your calendar is free, please sign up here. 

(Still looking for volunteer helpers!) CHRISTMAS PARTY - Our class Christmas party is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 18 from 12:15-2:00ish.  If you're able to help out with the planning and execution of this fun event for the kids, please shoot me an email.  I'll help connect all of you who are willing so you can work out the details.  Thanks in advance!

CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER - As part of our mission to equip minds and nurture hearts to transform the world for Jesus Christ, HC works to provide students with the knowledge and skills to guard themselves in this fallen world. Part of HC’s commitment to student safety is providing counsel and resources for sexual abuse prevention and intervention from the Children’s Advocacy Center. Please see the attached informed consent letter for more information. The Children’s advocacy center will not be sharing any videos during their lessons at Holland Christian.

If you have any questions about the content of the presentation, we encourage you to reach out to the Children’s Advocacy Center. If you would like your child to not participate in the presentation, please fill out this form at least one week prior to the presentation date. HC will anticipate participation unless they receive a submitted opt-out form.

Our classroom presentation will be on Wednesday, December 10th from 1:00-2:00pm.

We will do a few short classroom activities to follow up in the weeks after.
