Your children were able to spread the love of Christ this week in a very tangible way. They took time to make cards of encouragement for my dad. They wrote well wishes, looked up Bible verses to include, offered some jokes, and even asked what types of things he liked so they could include puzzles and baseballs in his cards. I presented those cards to my dad while he lay in his hospital bed awaiting his procedure on Wednesday, and as he read them he smiled, laughed, and kept repeating the words "how precious!" Your children were a blessing in many ways this week, but this is one very big one that we celebrate.💗
Psalm 121 - This brings such joy to my heart every time I watch! May you be blessed by it too!
CONFERENCES - This Spring the 4th graders will be doing student-led conferences. This will be a special time for just you, your 4th grader, and me to reflect on their growth in person (no siblings please). More details will fall into place later, but since the conference sign up email came out from Holland Christian (on Feb. 12), keep that in mind as you choose your time for your conference. Thanks so much!
GUINEA PIG - Are you going to be home for the majority of Spring Break? Our guinea pig, Stormi, is looking for a place to stay where she will be warm and fed. She can go a day or two without fresh food, so if you have a night or two away planned, she will still be just fine. But when you are home, she is sure to be a good source of entertainment for the kids in your home! If you are able to take her for the week, please sign up here. Thank you!
