CONFERENCES - This Spring the 4th graders will be doing student-led conferences. This will be a special time for just you, your 4th grader, and me to reflect on their growth in person (no siblings please). More details will fall into place later, but since the conference sign up email came out from Holland Christian yesterday (Feb. 12), keep that in mind as you choose your time for your conference. Thanks so much!
SPELLING TEST - Students received their word work list last Monday (the 9th) and will have a test on it this coming Friday, the 20th.
MATH & READING MINUTES - Due to no school on Monday this coming week, please return your child's math and reading homework minutes on Tuesday, and I will have a new set ready for this coming week.
BIBLE TEST - We are wrapping up our study of King Solomon and are planning for a test on him on Friday. Look for a study sheet to come home early in the week.
From the Music room:
We are off to a great start with Recorder Karate. There are some very motivated students that are eager to progress through the belts. There are also others who may need some encouragement/support to get going in their recorder work. In case you missed it, click on this link for a resource doc containing links to all the music, practice tips and video resources to support your child. Thank you so much for your support with at-home practice, and feel free to email me with any questions or to request additional paper copies of our material. Thanks so much!
